Accepting US car standards would risk European lives, warn cities and civil society

Opening the EU market to vehicles certified under US standards would weaken the protections that save lives in Europe, say more than 80 civil society organisations and the administrations of Amsterdam…

To wrap this up, this is HUGE!
This is a great step forward towards fair and just climate handling, and something everybody should be proud of.
And this also means that doing your part works! Coming together and voicing what's right is how democracy works.
Let's all rejoice for this historical moment, there's still a lot of work to do!✊
@brewsterkahle Those "cat busses" are a Pandora's Box. When the technology is that capable, hardly anybody is going to want to sit in those tiny cabs. For the same reasons as now, most people want cars as big as possible. So you'll have your cat busses, but they're made of Escalades, Jeeps and RAMs. And of course they'll go wherever they choose thank you very much, not go in line like some kind of lemmings.
@brewsterkahle The whole self-driving car hype is utter bullshit. We don't need self-driving cars, we need self-BREAKING cars. Which we could've had ages ago without all the focus on self-driving. Also, self-driving cars will only benefit the car industry, as it will make the number of cars on the road skyrocket.
@InsertUser @DataAngler @CelloMomOnCars Agreed, `start_date` is the tag to use here.

@bxl_forever Yes, I even checked the API documentation, there is no function to update or replace an existing image retaining the ID. Just like with OpenStreetMap's own objects, IDs may disappear without notice.
@bxl_forever For as far as I know, it's not possible to edit single photos after uploading, and even the options for editing complete sequences are limited.
If you still have the photos locally you can correct them with JOSM or other geotagging software, delete the Panoramax config file in the folder, and then do a new complete upload.
If you don't have the photos locally anymore, I think Panoramax offers an option to download the uploaded sequence.
@hongminhee And the term dyslexia is terrible to read or write by someone with dyslexia.
