oh okay so, in user preferences you can set your post privacy to "unlisted" on here
and that means they wont show up on the public server timeline thingy, thats all

you can also set your privacy to "followers-only" which makes your account act like a locked twitter account
only people who follow you can see your posts

good to know! prooobably gonna stay unlisted forever, then.
