BTW, journalists, this is not a "controversial" nomination. It's a completely bonkers move, and just this once maybe you should consider saying so forthrightly, and explaining why that is the case.

People who are speculating on what Trump may or may not do regarding 2024 seem to constantly ascribe critical thinking and self-awareness to a man who clearly has none. How many times do you need to learn this lesson?

The implosion of Twitter and migration to Mastodon has been fascinating. For one thing, it's like if everyone abandoned Windows all at once and switched to Linux.
The other thing is...why is this happening? Is Elon Musk the dumbest person on Earth? Is there some other motive that I'm not seeing? I am really at a loss here. It's entertaining, though!
