Coming to Mastodon from Twitter feels like busting in the door loudly brandishing a half drunk bottle of tequila and finding everyone sitting in horrified silence holding cups of tea and academic papers

Honestly, one of the worst things of the #Polycrisis so far is not even the horrors currently happening: rampant disease, flooding, droughts, enormous wildfires, destroyed crops, etc etc...

It's feeling like you're losing your mind for thinking we should maybe do something about all of those, while everyone around you just shrugs.

And the Very Serious People In Power are really just saying we need to Capitalism harder.
And maybe consider voting, once every few years.
