40 years ago today, Sonic Youth did a mind-blowing show in local club Vera in Groningen. Their first visit, and over the years SY and former members of SY returned many times. 'The Parting Glass' is a traditional Scottish song covered by everyone from Sinéad O’Connor, (featured on the cover art), to Hozier.
Like all of Bridgers’ holiday songs, proceeds will be donated, this year to the Aisling Project, a Dublin after school intervention program.
