I was at a BBQ party. Majority of the guests knew I'm trans, except for one aunt, whom I've met only once before. My plan was: everyone would call me by my name and pronouns, and she would assume she misremembered me, thus she would call me like everybody else.
When she arrived, she asked about my name. I said "Tosia" with confidence.
"I meant your name" she replied.
After a long uncomfortable pause I sighed and said *deadname*
I didn't have the energy to come out again...

Project idea: a script that makes your shell look like a text adventure.
Instead of directories you have rooms
Instead of text files you have scrolls
Instead of scripts you have spells etc.

Transition milestone: changing Minecraft player name

I wanted to go swimming but just one look at myself in the mirror made me turn back to my room 

I've spent the past 6 days programming a game engine, and now that it's ready (mostly) I don't have the motivation to make assets or write the story. I think I need a break
