I’m holding off on 24.04 simply because 26.04 is around the corner. So I figure I’ll pull it the rest of the way up then. This machine was originally provisioned as a 14.04, so, yeah. Pretty good run.
Been a hot minute since I upgraded my hobby web server. Pushed it all the way to Ubuntu 22.04 this afternoon, up from… 16.04.
It was mostly uneventful. AMA!

Will I post more often in 2026? Maybe. History would say otherwise, but at least I’m thinking about it.

✨ Hanging out, learning about manim. Probably put together a blog post about getting it set up.
I think I should make a "screenshot browser”. Something that has minimal chrome, but just enough that you know it’s a browser when you see it in a screenshot.
I'm sure it's a niche audience, but I hate having to toggle on and off the various UI pieces that clutter up a screenshot for, say, a manual. But I also don't like just getting an image of the page without the window chrome, because it usually looks out-of-context.
