What do I do?I'm a sociologist working at UCSD. I study markets and teach methods, science and technology studies, and economic sociology.
What am I working on?I'm working on two books. One is on the politics of scientific elites in Mexico. The other is on the role of budget models in racializing American higher education.

What should you call an intellectual who is wrong about 80% of the time, but for about half that time is wrong in genuinely interesting ways? As in, I find it stimulating to think critically about why they’re wrong.
