The stable release for 2025.4.6 has been made, with the security patches applied. Develop has merge conflicts that are actively being resolved.

That's it, I've practically finished with the first release of Catodon, I want to go through a few details later today, then I'll start setting up a public server so that you can all see what I've been working on non-stop for the past couple of months. I'm extremely happy with the result and I think you'll like it.

I will probably launch the server alongside the first RC for the stable release. This week!

I said I wouldn't do an "official" server for Catodon, after I had to close catodon.social because the initial admin gave it up and I had no experience doing something like that. But now I'm dipping my toes, I'm already more or less maintaining our greek server, and I think I could handle it - so this time it would depend on me, not someone else. And it would definitely help to have direct feedback from Catodon users. Would that be something you'd be interested in?

This has been my experience as well. Catodon will include several bug fixes on Sharkey, that we found during development.
