This will probably be an unpopular opinion, at least here, but I'm kinda fed up with the anti-LLM elitism. Yeah, they can be used in a bad way, but so can anything, more or less. They can also be amazing tools. You don't have to use them if you don't like them or they are not useful to you. But if someone goes around smashing heads with a hammer, don't blame the hammer.
for anyone interested, one major difference is that Discourse members can't be followed from remote servers, only forums, and that remote users can be followed from Discourse, but only in a federated subforum. This last part is a little confusing to me, but the main point I think -and correct me if I'm wrong- is that while remote follows are possible, you can't have a personalized feed with the accounts you follow.

Does anyone have any experience with both #NodeBB 's and #Discourse 's #ActivityPub / #Fediverse integrations? I am wondering what each can and cannot do. I am familiar with NodeBB's federation but not with Discourse's one. It would be great if there was a comparison chart, but I haven't managed to find anything like that. Thanks!
