Not really, that term emerged out of the peak of the Mexican cartel wars of the early 2000s.

Or at least, that’s when it gained popularity.

It means they’re preparing for expedited show trials for any plebs who protest foreign wars, and the war against the working class.

It means they think it’s about to get a whole lot worse, and they don’t need to pretend whose side they’re on anymore.

Started off fine for roughly a dozen words, then you jump right into Bill Gates.

Bill Gates who was great friends with Jeffrey Epstein, a monopolist, and most recently, worked tirelessly to prevent the sharing of the covid vaccine technology because it would harm the profits of his friends in big pharma.

I think your world view needs adjusting.

Too soon to tell if savvy move, or a crippling lack of backbone.

“‘Someone’ cancelled my family’s flight out of the country at the last second,” Bray posted on Bluesky social media. “We got our boarding passes. We checked our bags. Went through security. Then at our gate our reservation ‘disappeared.’”

If there was a government stop on his travel, such as being added to a no-fly list, he wouldn’t be able to simply rebook his tickets as the article describes.

Since the article does not explicitly say how it happened, you have to read between the lines. None of what they described sounded like government persecution, but it sounda exactly like what happens when you’re targeted by 4chan for harassment.

Notice how he was immediately rebooked by the airlines, and not taken away by DHS or TSA.

The article also makes it sound like the airline is in a bit of CYA mode, because at minimum they were the targets of a extremely high profile case of social engineering.

Using Google products is implicit support for Google.

Which, by the way, I understand, but if you actually read the comments from top to bottom, you would have grasped the context.

So tell me you didn’t actually read the comment thread without telling me.

The person I was responding to was declaring that their choice to use an Android based phone makes them a more ethical consumer, and therefore a better person, then iPhone users.

That’s an absurd statement, which was what my comment was highlighting.

How about you just don’t act high and mighty and pretend that your personal consumer choice of using an Android based OS somehow make you more ethical then those who use an iPhone.

Oh that’s fantastic.

Can you please tell me you’re entirely ethical smartphone setup?

Obviously you won’t have any Android in there, including Android ROMs which are based off of AOSP, as Google is just as, if not more, evil than Apple, and any project based off Google’s OS is inherently unethical.

Are you’re using a fair phone? If not, what ethical phone are you using?

And for your OS, is Sailfish or Ubuntu Touch?

Completely misleading headline.

It sounds like someone socially engineered the canceling of his family’s trip.

At least according to this article, it was not any government action stopping him from leaving.

Probably still traumatic for them all, but they’ve already rebooked new flights, per the article.
