this is not to say discord is not flaming garbage, merely that I do not want to live in a world where people would genuinely take the whole wide range of human communication and collapse it into inaccessible, unfriendly grayscale again and call that an improvement

I am very proud of myself tho for not just spending all day going around replying to things with "you only like IRC because it's one of the few places left with plausible deniability about how shitty and non-inclusive your communities still are"
