@sean_ae @sfn @inacouo They were the first band that made me think of music as a cultural agent.
It was almost like a vehicle for creating things that weren't necessarily music itself.
I'm not an expert, so I wouldn't want to call it counterculture, but... whatever you call it, massive shoutout to Coil and TG. They made definitely something in my younger brain as well, mad to think i found them through bootlegs I found in a market in Mexico City
