I did my debut comedy set and left out my non-binary jokes.
the stage was burlesque last wednesday, the main stage having a two-panel catwalk extension in front, where comedy is usually just the main stage.
it was only half-put away for last night.
i performed half-out.
being in class again is embarrassing.
my stomach rumbled and the girl behind me thought i farted and whispered to the person next to her and giggled.
low key this feels funny now
maybe if my aunt cries every time she engages me in conversation i'm not the problem.

bluestarultorIf any company was significantly worse off, that would cause reputation damage that they'd need to spend money to mitigate, especially if there was a viable competitor to switch to.
If any company was significantly BETTER off, that would spark a scramble to see what they're doing different and the answer to it would probably be stuff nobody wanted to actually do, but they'd all pay lip service to it. It also tells top performers where to apply.

Some white folk like MLK for how he makes them feel: hopeful and absolved. Most Black folk like MLK for what he did for us: Voting Rights Act, shone light on injustices done to Black people.
If MLK joined Mastodon, some folks would tell him to CW his own mistreatment, then kick him off of his server, then subject him to targeted threats of violence, then when he left Mastodon to avoid abuse, would say it's because he craves followers and clout. 🤷🏿♂️
