@mcnado I'm practically albino due to my Irish heritage, so I'm just making an educated guess here. Like me, Mathers grew up in one of the few white families in a predominantly minority neighborhood. He was exposed to more Black culture than white in his neighborhood, and grew up doing rap battles with Black rappers.

He still got lots of pushback in the early years of his career. Still gets some to this day.

Raygun grew up in affluent white neighborhoods. She didn't pay her dues.
