Had the realization today that Fritz Lang's Metropolis is set in 2026 and it's breaking my brain. The only benefit being that it felt like a good reason to post on LP again. 😅

Bruce Campbell is in a NEW Hallmark Christmas movie.

That is all.

Hi! 💚
Show of hands, how many of you are willing to quit a movie if it gets to be just too boring?
Anyone else participating in Hooptober?

Ok - so I just watched a really adorable documentary short on Netflix called "John Was Trying To Contact Aliens."

It's really fucking adorable, and I won't spoil it but surprisingly heartwarming.

Wanna have a real viewing “experience?”

Watch these movies in this order:

Cisco Pike
Laurel Canyon
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
Inherent Vice

Let me tell you this is a MOOD.

Has anyone watched The Death of Stalin? I have feelings about it and would love to know what y'all thought.
Things are getting weird in my house, party people. What are y’all watching? Last night of us it was Shockproof. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0041871/
Shockproof (1949) - IMDb

Directed by Douglas Sirk. With Cornel Wilde, Patricia Knight, John Baragrey, Esther Minciotti. A Parole Officer falls in-love with his client, a ravishing blonde who served time for murder, and he's determined to help her go straight despite her interfering criminal boyfriend.

What's the best thing you've watched recently?

'Cause last night I started watching an HBO documentary series about the McDonalds Monopoly game in the 1990s/Early 2000s and actually I really enjoyed it.

Also Microwave Massacre, but for separate reasons.
