Apple over estimates this a bit as I think elevation gain was closer to 5500ft but this was a big hike for my friend and I - our biggest of the year. Our legs, feet, and knees were feeling it the last 3-4 miles. I was out like a light when I went to bed. 😂

Thankfully my knees are not feeling it much today, mostly sore calves and legs. I continue to work towards bullet proof knees. A ways to go, but a lot of progress the past 2 years.

This hike was a full day adventure. 11 hours out and back from the trailhead and 5 hrs driving. Perfect weather, great views. Peaceful but pushing our bodies hard to do 3 summits. Lots of other happy hikers on trail. Nothing but the majesty of nature all day. Simply wonderful.
