Former Marine (1971-1975). Different jobs through the years. Just a regular guy. Nothing special about me. Married to the best person I've ever known. I am a man. Heterosexual. Unapologetic Democrat.. I use Linux and have for the last eighteen years. I am an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy novels. Also historical and, biographical works, though not as many. . I am almost 73 years old (on November 26). But. I believe young in mind and heart.
@Mellando I would protect and defend trans people to my last breath. After all, they have as many rights to be who they are as anyone else. They are people who have their own thoughts and feelings just like those of us who are not transgender. They are human beings too. If you need a friend, or if you need shelter, or if you need someone who will not judge you or look down on you, I'm that guy.

was born years after it all happened, and am not Jewish, I weep for the victims of the Holocaust. I believe it was evil on a global scale. I abhor the inhumanity of the Nazi regime. What shocks me is that I fear this ideology has never died, and seems to be resurging. God help us all.
