That’d be the analog sticks. Run them in a circle a few times, if the issue persists then the analog sticks need to be replaced. If you have basic soldering skills it’s not too hard. That said, I’m not sure replacement PS3 controllers are very expensive either.

Android Auto works absolutely fine on Pixel 8 Pro. I will say that Spotify was initially frozen on Android Auto when I tried it, but a force quit and relaunch of Spotify got it working as expected.
