Apple Platforms Developer looking for my next thing.

If it’s harmed me, it’s harmed me, it’ll harm me; I’ll let it in.

The worst part about being laid off is I've become "checks LinkedIn every day" guy.

As you probably heard, Block laid off 40% of its work force today, including me.

I’m looking for an Apple platforms role that’s remote or in the Boston area. I’ve lead large engineering efforts that spanned platforms and shipped to millions of customers. I also happen to think I’m nice to work with.

@lickability Thank you for the holiday card! Very kind of you folks.
I had this happen a couple days ago while I was playing a game, and it slowed performance to a crawl. Restarting seemed to fix it, and the issue hasn't returned since, but this doesn't feel like a great place to be this late in the beta cycle. https://mjtsai.com/blog/2025/08/19/tahoe-free-space-problems/

Rob Napier - TIL:AI. Thoughts on AI

I use AI a lot for work, pretty much all day every day. I use coding assistants and custom agents I’ve built. I use AI to help code review changes, dig into bugs, and keep track of my projects. I’ve found lots of things it’s very helpful with, and lots of things it’s terrible at. If there’s one thing I have definitely learned: it does not work the way I imagined.
