@gen I freely admit that I joined mastodon alongside a lot of other people after tumblr’s problems became Just Too Much but a) refugee and/or exile are very powerful words like most of these tumblr users( including myself) are white Americans calling themselves “refugees” bc a site wouldn’t let them post titties anymore?? And b) yeah there are lots of different forms of social media and go try different ones but don’t infringe on an existing online community bringing your shit with you
