This one was full of practical effects, which were fun! Little animatronic Brontosaurus charge, a floating (self) severed head with tendrils hanging down to attack, rubber/electronic spiders with needles to poison their victim's eyes, a guy who's skin bubbles and pops all over before he dissolves, felt bats with glowing red eyes. The black magicians definitely gave some repulsive moments, solidifying their identity as the evil villains. And, as a bonus, it's got Bolo Yeung from movies like Bloodsport, Enter the Dragon, and a bunch of other movies that I probably stayed up way to late as a kid to watch.

Surreal experience where you travel through an unspoken narrative, figuring out how to move on by playing with the paper-like creatures and manipulating items (and creatures) that can influence the environment. Some fun songs, enjoyable moments, and light puzzling. There is a sandbox mode that I have not yet played. Playtime to complete the game at a leisurely, explorative pace was 3.8 hours.

Fun, quick, nostalgically themed VR puzzle game set up like an escape room. If you have a connection to 90s arcade gaming and pop culture this will bring you some entertainment. Expands on the first game, Paranormal Detective: Escape from the 80's, with similar gameplay but more puzzles. Took me 4.5 hours to 100% the game. If you get stuck, like I did not noticing a low cabinet that could be opened, and the in-game hints don't help, the developers have a great guide on steam with spoilers hidden.

1980s video gaming-themed VR escape room puzzle game. A short, enjoyable enough game. Finished the story in 92 minutes. The story, while intentionally corny, is fun. I would recommend for those that enjoy retro gaming and puzzles.
