@matthartley I finally got my hands on a framework laptop. Just so happened that someone was selling their 11th gen on Craigslist for about $450. So now I'm a part of framework ecosystem and I also get to experience the upgradeability of it down the road. There was a small dent in the top cover, but I was able to hammer that out fairly easily since the screen was easy to remove. Hooray!

@matthartley should I go with the latest AMD CPU or will I be fine with the previous Gen for the Framwork 13? For me it comes down to cost so would I be losing much? I don't plan on running llms on it with exception of whisper for transcriptions for example.

I am doing better today. Having not only my stuff, but my friends stuff stolen really broke me. I didn't do the due diligence of making sure it was locked... Even if it was, I'm sure they would have smash and grab anyways. I'm still shaken up by the whole ordeal, but I will be fine.
I also upgraded the pop!_OS to 24.04 so I guess I'm dog fooding COSMIC now. Great job btw guys.
