Extreme weather is non-partisan.🇺🇸 Witnessed lingering devastation of last year’s hurricanes in Florida this weekend where I visited my mom for her 80th birthday.👇🏼

Climate change is driving more intense storms on both coasts. Let’s acknowledge this & protect our communities.

Despite many beautiful parks in our city, we still have whole neighborhoods without safe access to parks. Carving a path to ensure all residents can safely access a park within 10 minutes is a top priority in my second term. https://twitter.com/saferoutesnow/status/1620090788225892354

Instead of continuing to suffer through bath mats with no traction (yikes)… I finally decided I’d had enough. Even Sawyer is enjoying them. Yay us!

This is something I'm still working on one day at a time!

Camped at Oak Grove in the Palomar District of the @[email protected]. I love this forest!! The hike was hard, but worth the views of the San Bernardino and San Jacinto Mtns. I’m so used to seeing them from the other side! They were expecting snow today, so I left super early!

30x30

30x30 California Accelerating Conservation of California’s Nature Background Over the past year, through collaborative and inclusive public engagement process, CNRA has been gathering expert opinions and asking people around the state for what, in their view, are our best opportunities and strategies for achieving 30x30. The draft strategy has been shaped by months of public participation and collaboration, including Tribal consultations, public input surveys, regional discussions, and topical workshops. To watch recordings of previous webinars, visit our Public Engagement page . For a more in-depth overview of the public engagement process, see Pathways Appendix G. The Draft Pathways to 30x30 strategy was released on December 15, 2021. Stakeholders and members of the public were invited to submit written feedback by Friday, January 28, 2022.
