@gruber When I had a phone screen for a job at Disney many years ago, the exec who was interviewing me described their core business as "Characters". Which explained the Lucasfilm and Marvel acquisitions. I think by the numbers, they make the most money off ABC/ESPN though. The theme parks and cruise lines are a drop in the bucket.

In fact, all "punish the people of the present for the sins of the past" movements lose me. My grandfather was railroaded by Woodrow Wilson and had to spend 5 years in Leavenworth for sedition. Doesn't mean I deserve anything.

Enough whining about Twitter, what SHOULD X and all these Twitter 2.0s look like?

Twitter was bullshit as a business before Elon. Getting rid of the arbitrary censorship was a good thing, Twitter classic always felt like the movie Mean Girls, people with conflicting opinions need not apply.

Me: I would like to see topic trees. If I spawn some thread that takes off, and people line up on either side of the issue, it would be nice to have the followups organized: pro/con/ambivalent.
