I think I just upset my poor elderly mother by sending her photos of our Christmas tree decorated with stuff for Easter and by being really quite high and doing it at eleven o'clock at night.

Waiting outside my wife's work with a sack of cinnamon doughnuts in my bag. We're to the doctor soon but the doughnuts I bought smell so nice and we can't sit in the waiting room or doctor's office with the scents of cinnamon, aniseed and fried dough. People wouldn't like it.
So I'm waiting outside my wife's work, so she can come down and put my bag in the car.

I'm wearing my Central Services tshirt for work today, for designated 'fun tshirt Friday'. Brazil is one of those movies that seems to diminish in the memory, thoroughly infected with the malaise of Thatcher's England and tainted by Gilliam's later decades. You think to yourself 'There's no way that it could be as good I remember.' But you go back and watch it and you're older now. You watch it again and it's *better* than you remember.

I haven't been having good luck with this lately but lets see if I can get through the day without pissing everyone off and feeling like shit.

I wrote out a big rant but fuck that. Lost my temper at work because I had an overload and yelled at my boss. Instead of reporting it or having me written up they tried to talk to me to 'fix' the issue and instead of actually doing anything they blamed me for not telling them sooner, and when I told them how I would like things to work in the future they disregarded it all. Fucked off.
