Combat Unicorn@slackz He wasn't interested in a conversation. Anyone who asked him to change at all was a problem in his eyes. He also questioned CWs and mentioned them as "self-censorship". He didn't want to be part of the community. He wanted the community stage.

wilw wasn't here to engage with Mastodon. He left twitter but missed having an audience. He wanted "twitter without the nagging of my conscience".
He posted a twitter thread telling marginalized folks it was dangerous to be here. To this space that has lots of marginalized folks. Many of whom he helped chase off birdsite.

I've liked Wil Wheaton. I wanted him to be in the right this time.
He wasn't. Not really.
His "I'm not transmisogynist/misogynist" post even admits he promoted a blocklist with lots of trans folk. He does not acknowledge the hurt he caused. He most assuredly does not apologize for the hurt he caused. He just explains his reasons.
