Holidays with my family are the toughest…they always remind me I grew up under a toxic, dramatic household and an emotionally abusive father who is the reason behind my depression.

Watching cheerleader squads perform makes me sad because it reminds me of what I’d be able to do had I been born into a normal family.
As crazy and crowded as the Vegas strip can be, I like walking through it at night and seeing the sights…would be better to experience it with someone special tho.

As someone who’s on the spectrum, I’m glad to see autistic characters serve as series leads and have viewers see themselves in this production. Props to the writers for handing such subjects with care and actively debunking stereotypes towards autistic people.
It’s been a little over a week since #CarlTheCollector debuted on PBS Kids. Having watched a good chunk of it already, it’s definitely an important series and an excellent teaching tool on neurodivergence and the importance of empathy and understanding.
