In other news, I have a team meeting tonight that I forgot about, because it's not the usual night for it. I am so not up for this today!

This is actually really good because my debit card got compromised this weekend ugh! so that limits what I can do as far as getting cash locally to get a money order, etc.

Update: A friend is going to actually drive 2 hours away to pick up the marriage certificate I need to get the real ID. I am most grateful and told her whatever she needs reimbursed, even for parking and/or gas, she just needs to tell me and I will pay it gladly. She has paypal also so that's a bonus.

The beaurocracyu of our local, state, and federal governments is just totally staggering to me. I have no trouble getting a marriage license for a marriage I have been in for 29 years, yet for one I was in for maybe a year and a half, because of it, I can't get a real ID, and that particular licensing department says they take 4 weeks and require a money order and a mail-in form. or to go in person. The lady actually had the gall to ask me if someone could drive me 2 hours to come in person, to City Hall, no less, where parking would be nonexistent. Really? Seriously? Why do they have to make it so difficult? And the divorce decree from that same marriage isn't good enough, even though it shows all the info.
