We did a training course at work that told us to mark as phishing emails anything that told you you had to do something urgently, and set an unreasonable deadline.
Since then I’ve been discarding all work emails using the same logic.
Lifting the lid on a closed public toilet is very much like the old glass half full / half empty thing, except half full is the pessimist’s result in this case.
