Eating disorders are more rare.

I do think the "touch grass" concerns about too much time online have some merit. But before that we just watched TV almost as much.

Most people can recognize that more people seeking help for things like depression isn't the same as more people getting depressed.

@mekkaokereke @kitoconnell The cops’ own numbers tell us violent crime is literally *half* the rate it was at its peak in 1991. There is no mention of this when media claim “crime is skyrocketing.” It quite objectively *is not*.

Newspapers' anti-Black framing doesn't just hurt Black people. It hurts white people and Asian people too. It scares people that don't know white US history into making poor decisions.

The US passes laws not based on crime, but based on how white people feel about crime. How white people feel about crime, is largely based on fabrications by news coverage.

US media can invent a crime wave whenever it is convenient. Usually around elections, or after any progressive politician or DA is elected.🤡
