Hello, hello..? Is this thing on..?

OK... I forgot I had this account and now I'm going back to ignoring it (just checking I could sign in).

FYI - I prefer real-life communications or, failing that, email. 🙂

Peace.

@[email protected] was that toot supposed to be truncated?
@[email protected] have you ever read Daemon's Selfish Gene? ;-)
@[email protected] well, I'm making it up as we go along. The self imposed educational constraints are proving more useful than the theme. ;-)
@[email protected] that's a *really good point*. Space on the case for a sharpie or sticker. ;-)
@[email protected] oooh, very nice. Will be interested in how you get on withe the e-ink version. How do I get hold of one for hacking? Also, may ask middle son to design a 3d printed case as a school project. ;-)
My day today = NY -> Boston (by train). Should be fun! :-)
@[email protected] oooh... ;-)

As a conference attendee I want to:

* Display my name and other interesting info.
* Have an obvious / easy way to hack the device
* Easily customise my badge.

As a conference organiser I want to:

* Pre load the conference programme data onto the device.
* Have the device show up as a USB storage device so attendees can get conference info off it.
* Have a display that shows a grey-scale version of the logo and the attendee's name. QR code friendly.
* Long battery life.

etc...
