Glad I finally joined my local (Decatur) #maker space. Looks to be a great resource and community. At the new member meeting yesterday I saw #3dprinters, a wood shop, electronics shop, craft supplies and even a #glowforge
@z I'm in the mastodon.social web app and can click though to see a list of who follows/followers, even for folks of other instances.
I like that Twitch is a viable platform, and that people enjoy it - but I can't seem to find draw.
It feels like hanging out with a prep cook peeling carrots in a restaurant's kitchen vs. waiters serving the beautifully plated meal I came to enjoy.

For 2018 I'm busy setting up a youtube channel, pretty excited about it. I'll use it to document as teach myself about electronics. There's a lot of projects I'm looking forward to doing for the channel. I'm starting from zero, experience and knowledge wise, and happy about that for some reason.
