They want to be able to arrest their political opponents for saying mean things about them, but if California or NY used the same standard and arrested people in their states for actual hate speech the right wing outrage machine would go into an instant meltdown.

I’ve never felt the need to shift my opinions to please the crowd on lemmy. I mean if someone is really deep in certain communities that could happen, but that’s the loser part. Online chat groups shouldn’t become a focus of your identity.

If they had gotten it out quickly this would have been kinda neat and a selling point of the film (even if it sucked). So why did they wait 4 years after the pandemic to release it?
