Red herring fallacy. The topic here is not the targeted, judicious, and rational use of tariffs to protect important sectors while avoiding inflation spikes and minimizing retaliatory tariffs, but rather Trump's proposal for across-the-board tariffs of 20% (and additional 60%, 100%, 200% or whatever other number pops in his head). I can find no evidence that Bernie supports the latter, because he's not crazy.
