@duskfallcrew Almost all our frequent fronters and all our cohosts (including me) are DSMP introjects so with people like that it's like, man you're shit out of luck I guess. There's some weird ass fuckers out there but good pockets of the community too. And uh, yeah... the weird ones are just as unappealing to us. (For some of them "weird" is an understatement.) -Wil

@GirlInterrupted We're in a pretty conservative area so I'm not sure how much it'll do, but might as well see if we can try. Since the universe I come from is so different I'm kind of just bumbling around like an idiot and becoming progressively more horrified the more I find out about human history. Just hoping to be a _helpful_ bumbling idiot in at least some capacity. Still trying to figure out where the line is so we(mainly me) don't overstep. -Wil

@ReneMeadowbloom Thanks for the link, I'm pretty woefully uneducated. Not exactly sure how to phrase what I'm trying to ask in a way that doesn't sound weird or egocentric or sheltered. To be fair, not really the indigenous population's job to figure out where colonizers are meant to go regardless. Saw the size of the Osage reservation compared to their ancestral land when I was looking at a few maps and I had to just stare for a moment. -Wil

@GirlInterrupted that's a bit of a coincidence actually– I think we might live on Osage land so I was considering trying to learn the language if I can keep up the motivation. A few other places have said Shawnee, so I'm assuming the borders changed over time. Our fiancés think they have native ancestry so maybe we could test for that and see too. Not sure if I can muster the courage to contact news outlets or anything like that, maybe if they have emails we can use instead of calling. -Wil

The more I become aware as a colonizer of all that's happened and is still happening to the indigenous population, the more unsure I get of what we can really... do. We're not currently in a position to financially support anyone or participate in activist circles. So kind of a broad question– what is the "end goal" when it comes to #landback? It isn't possible for all colonists to go back to Europe, but I don't imagine all/most(?) natives would want a bunch of colonists assimilating into their culture either. Those are the only two options I can think of, and definitely not likely, so I feel like I'm sort of... missing something. -Wil
