but yes, it is a good question. with probably a community-lead answer. and particularly difficult to answer, because depending on your ethics, simply being left alone or reparated somehow is potentially not enough
@MoMartin this reply makes me want to think about "justice" and whether it is a good way to think about things
@MoMartin and i am by no means applying a "dooming" paradigm to cultural interchange, suggesting that it is necessarily violent, but in the backdrop of whiteness, an extremely dominant cultural force, well, it tweaks our analysis somewhat to say the least!
@MoMartin haha! but really, i am beleaguering this point because it is, to me, the necessary lens for examining cultural exchange and interaction ... so important!
