Handmade bagels at Copper Star Coffee: Made in Arizona

Bill Sandweg has been in the restaurant biz since he was a teenager.And 15 years ago, he opened Copper Star Coffee on 7th Ave, just where it curves through the Melrose District between Camelback and Indian School roads.For a long time, it was known for its coffee and neighborhood feel. But recently, it’s become known for something else, too — its bagels.So on a recent Friday morning The Show's Lauren Gilger and producer Amber Victoria Singer got up way before the sun to meet Sandweg at the coffee shop and see how the magic is made.
