iPadOS 26 is so polarising I think. I get why some people love it. I hate everything about it to the point that I am contemplating dumping my iPad.
@caseyliss listening to ATP. I have a Carlinkit 3 which I think is relatively new. IOS 26.0.1 still causes disconnects for me. Just thought you’d like to know.
I disabled all multitasking on iPadOS 26 on my iPad Mini and it feels way faster. But seriously, I need my slideover back
I went from an iPhone Pro Max to an iPhone Pro this year. Does that mean that text is smaller I’m on my new phone or is it a placebo?

I have the new iPhone. Some early simple thoughts on all this:

It's a gorgeous phone (17 Pro here).
I can no longer use a phone with a case - that's a me thing
I have a TechWoven case, and like it a lot. A lot.
The 26 software cycle is nothing short of disastrous

The new battery screen in iOS 26 is utterly useless yeah? It’s taken away most of the useful information such as viewing battery usage by hour and actually showing all apps that have drained your battery.
The battery life on the 15 Pro Max is…. Not amazing.
I wish I was brave enough to go caseless

I bought one of these new FineWoven cases to see what it’s like. I do like how light and slim it is, but if you have greasy hands or like to use hand creams, it is gonna look terrible fast I think.

The silicon cases feel a bit less “sticky” this year, I might have to go for one.
