@pacoid On PyTextRank I have a question if "sentence" and "sentences" should be one line in the phrase output or not, like the tutorial suggests.

I just "bought you some coffee" 😊 2 reasons: Your PyTextRank sample code made spaCy click for me, and, if you could look into issues 231 and 232 that would be nice.

I am trying out spaCy and PyTextRank with legal texts and need to do a lot of scrubbing etc. I am also trying out PEGASUS, BART and T5, but TextRank appeals to me more right now.

The most common thing I want to say to GitHub projects is "Please use Make".

It's old as dirt and the syntax isn't great, but even in its simplest use being able to reduce a wall of shell copypasta to "make whatever" is such a breath of fresh air.

Get yourself to where "install", "install-devenv", "build" and "run all my tests" are all dead easy, zero chaff, no typos simple. And if you find yourself re-using some long command chain, add it to the makefile and you're done. It is so good.

@macguru17 Is the first paragraph of the latest newsletter ("I love...") sarcasm? If not, it is quite hard to digest.
@rdviii You're following #AIHype too, yeah! Bender, Gebru. I've read some of their papers, interviews as well. I've been interested in the topic for a while, but easy to get wrong and not see what's happening.

@loren

After attending #StochasticParrotsDay earlier today, I'm considering using quotation marks, i.e., "AI" or A"I", whenever I have to use the abbreviation "AI" to emphasize that the term doesn't really mean what it's being applied to.

I would, of course, drop the quotes when referring to apple insects. Or anything that doesn't have "intelligence" in it.

@rdviii I haven't watched a basketball game in decades, I didn't know simply going for three points now was a thing 😊 I can see it coming that they're going to increase the radius of the three point line 😊

We cannot trade the mirage of some future economic benefit for the promise of mass extinction, climate refugees, and the rolling climate catastrophe we are living with more and more with each passing year. Willow is a false hope.

Ruffalo: ‘Approval of Willow project will undermine progress on climate change’

The Biden administration on March 13 approved the massive Willow oil drilling project in Alaska in the federally owned National Petroleum Reserve. This is a statement from actor and activist Mark Ruffalo.

Instead of going after violent white nationalists, insurrectionists, tax cheats, polluters, & union busters, MAGA Republicans want to bully & disenfranchise trans people, who hurt no one & take nothing from society. It’s nasty & most of America knows it.
