Assuming 1,000 sq,ft space with 8 ft ceiling held at 75°, raising the humidity from 20% to 30% means putting a little over 1 pound of moisture into the air... roughly a pint. The tough part for maintaining it is that it will leech into everything else (walls, floors, furniture, etc)
