Finally got some time to cleanup my home network and the assorted SBCs doing tiny little things. Debated between pihole, ad block home vs technitium and ended up with pihole , Not exactly fancy but does the job and keeps doing the job. My only crib all day has been the netgear armor stuff is not exactly my liking..

So I had a local instance of patchworks maintaining my patch queue for me..and well, I screwed it up bad, It was just one of those days.. one bad decision and after another till, somehow you have wiped the SQL database, dropped the tables, lost the old backup... Etc.. and yeah, you end up juggling many high priority things, and loose focus, hit rm -rvf folder, someone walks in your office, you hit enter.. and stare at screen.. anyways.. a day and sleep later, it is back up.. some days...

Will distros rally around? Debian, will you move? Debian.org is like a bell weather of community adoption.. if distros don't move, libraries/apps do not optimize.. risc-v is still a pipe dream.. there is benefit of freedom of choice in early years, but power of standardization helps ecosystem maturity.. will distros rally? Or will it be.. hey, no useable soc out there with this profile for next three years, so why bother??

Off on Disney cruise. I have no idea how I (someone very uncomfortable in crowds and big social settings) got into a Disney cruise... Guess I have a few days to survive..
