Aahhhh.. finally logged in again after a while. I had forgotten about this.
#WWDC23 I was just chuckling at the VR launch, seriously are people going to get on that bandwagon, Its more like a niche product specifically for people who have money to waste and not a practical device, I feel that way about all VR sets not just this one. This one is super expensive as well costing well over 3k, such a waste of money.
#WWDC23 not going to waste money on Macbooks any more. Untill they allow easy end user upgrade and replacement of RAM, Storage, battery and Speakers in the least.
#WWDC23 With every passing year Apple products are becoming more expensive to own and older products will end up in landfills. Dissapointed that again the macbook is not upgradable and what you buy is what you will have till you junk it.
On May 26th My pet cat 'Putti' she passed away, due to some stray dog attack. Rest in Peace Putti. You gave me unprecedented amounts Joy and copious amounts of unconditional love.
Will take proper backup of the data and after that probably next week will wipe both the hard disks clear by deleting all the partitions and re installing the windows 10 OS from the dell recovery OS installer.
I just have installed the window 10 on the new drive but it says I cannot upgrade to windows 11 but the old drive has windows 11. Something to do with the bios settings I guess. Right now dual booting with Windows 11 on the old hard disk and windows 10 on the new hard disk.
And for the Dell Inspiron, I upgraded the Ram to 16 GB from the existing 8 GB and got a 1 TB NVMe M2 SSD in addition to the t TB HDD and replaced the bloated battery with a new one. it is a dream to use the laptop now.

It is unfortunate that Apple is not releasing any more OS updates to the MBP 2012 Mid, only way out is to patch and install the latest OS.

Apple should have released Mac OS for all Intel based system till they decide to stop support for Intel based Macs. Right now with the SSD install, the Mac is like a rocket ship. It doesn't show its age at all.

Got a 16 GB ram and 1 TB SSD and reinstalled the MAC OS. on that. The speed bump is unbelievable. Before the upgrade it used to take almost 5 minutes to boot and ages to open up the application. Now it takes less than 30 seconds to boot up and all the applications start up in a jiffy.
