@pinkprius @globalc my “client” takes my blog posts and pushes them to twitter and mastodon. And I don’t know if I remember in a month that I am not allowed to post anything about the virus because of the mastodon-server. And in a year it is another topic people have problems with.

@pinkprius @globalc in the end it means I really have to use mastodon or give it up if I don’t use mastodon enough to keep up with eventual arbitrary rule changes.

@globalc I won’t run my own server. And yes, servers can decide for their own rules. I won’t run my own because that is more work than I want to do. Thus I’d rather give up on mastodon than searching for a new server, moving my account again etc.I thought giving up on micro-blogging/blogging completely. So this might be a first step.
