@albinanigans so far, I've had a great experience with Guild.host indeed

A lot of Montreal communities moved there: https://guild.host/montreal-tech/network

That being said, I've seen some communities use Luma now: https://luma.com

Hope that helps!

@paige I don't know/think that Guild.host supports the protocol, but Mobilizon was mentioned

Another platform that could fit is https://gath.io/ but I haven't tried it myself

Finally, I see some communities moved to https://luma.com/ but I don't think they are fedi-enabled either

@freekl sorry for the late reply, but yes, it's in my to-read list for this year 😄
And the whole bookshelf I am mentioning: https://understandlegacycode.com/bookshelf
The key points of Refactoring at Scale

Maude Lemaire wrote a great book rooted from her experience in the trenches, at Slack. Let's see how it may help you lead large-scale refactoring projects.

"Refactoring at Scale" by
Maude Lemaire is now part of Understand Legacy Code bookshelf 🎉

I like how it's rooted in reality, with concrete use cases from the trenches at Slack

I wrote an overview of what I learned, so you can answer "Is this book relevant to my situation?" 😉

@tvbeek @ridingwolf yes, it starts at 10am EDT so that makes it "end of day" for Europe

The talks will be recorded and published afterwards

If you have the opportunity to join an open-space session, join us 😉 Otherwise, there surely will be other occasions

@cxj It's fairly recent indeed 😄

Better late than never, they say!

== Scheduled Talks ==

🔷 "Communication is Just as Important as Code" / @andreagoulet

🔷 "Using Code Coverage and Mutation Testing to add tests to Legacy Code" / @claresudbery

🔷 "From Legacy Monolith to Microservices via Event Storming" / @sadukie

🔷 "AI Coding: The State of the Mend" / @lambdapocalypse
