@Infoventurer once I figured out you can find almost any manual on the internet I've stopped worrying about them almost entirely!
you carry a large box of miscellaneous cables around from house to house for your entire adult life, but does it help you find the one XLR cable you need and know you own when you want it? no it does not
@ElleGray I once tried looking into the origin of a bunch of these collective nouns for animals and as far as I can tell most of them have just been made up v recently by some randoms
