Sitting in a bier garten after the kid’s 4th grade end of school celebration and the end of my room parent responsibilities while a dj in a panama hat plays Fela Kuti under a mural of Cesar Chavez interrupted intermittently by the sounds of a parrot on a leash while wrapping up a busy but fulfilling work week in view of my cargo bike that just crossed 2500 miles so far this year while my partner takes a remote meeting around the corner before we go to the kid’s end of year chorus recital. 🥰
Front Porch menu item, “Hope Loop”, that puts Papalote on the side with Fried Chicken. I would order it tonight. @rollovereasy

@manicbanjo I got a print of this after my partner finished her degree at UO(ducks) and started her PhD at OSU(beavers). We had it up for years.
