What are you good folks using for tagging? acts_as_taggable? Looks kinda heavyweight.
@judofyr @jgaskins @solnic @timriley @tom_dalling @james i’d take a look at Elm’s composable-form for ideas
She’s clearly of a different type, but best wishes from Lola & dad ❤️❤️❤️
@Hooper follow your interests and try to link your hobbies together, niches are often a good way to build experience in a field you know and sometimes also get traction from a dedicated user base.
Be patient.
Find a way to stay focused. Mine is the pomodoro technique, but whatever works for you.
@veer66 elm?
@phiofx ff is way lighter than chrome for me
@OwenAdamsYT Sherlocku?
@brentsimmons that is quite amazing.
I don’t use a news reader since forever (Twitter/Reddit/HN), would be interested what are today the must-read Ruby blogs.
Shall we compile a list or something?
Composability has a price: coded a single field form today in elm, ensured fields where reusable and decoupled from view code.
Almost 1k lines of code, including Html.* code.
Amazing experience, literally a truckload of fun.
@lawremipsum understandable, but then there must be some kind of public policy that the admin enforces because I’m giving to the instance my time and content. It’s crystal clear nobody owes me anything, still if moderation is 100% subjective it’s a can of worms IMHO
