Used an ICE40 to FIB mill a big hole (the size of a small hole) in an ICE40.

@niconiconi it’s *such* an awesome journal. My guess is a lot of the publications wouldn’t find a home elsewhere due to “insufficent novelty” but it’s still probably the only journal I’d actually just go and read.
@gsuberland Probably have good reasons, but out of interest why is Apple TV 4K + OLED monitor not an acceptable solution?
@amanda @maswan I did try and run those numbers for laptops a while back but I’ve lost my calculations. From memory it was very clear that continuing to use was always more energy efficient.

I Am A Sequencing Absolutist

If an experiment or diagnostic can be performed using DNA or RNA sequencing, I’m all for it. If it’s 10 times as expensive… that’s still what I want. It’s worth it. Sequencing is just axiomatically better. I’d perform metagenomic sequencing on anyone with any infection, because I think it’s

@mynotaurus I vaguely remember the law was drafted that way because they wanted to people with caravans to be able to watch TV in the caravan without a second license. But it then it also ended up allowing students to watch TV as a side effect.

Crazy anyway given the total lack of enforcement.
