Okay, this is *entirely* my fault, but....

why on god's green earth would "Move Account" be under "Security" instead of "Data Import/Export"???!?!?

on the bright side this VM has been upgraded to debian 12
Ugh....can I not migrate my account from my akkoma instance because i'm an admin? christ
It is *impossible* to over-state the force multiplier that good documentation provides, in an enterprise. When you have good docs, people will take your work and get shit done. I've had people add functionality they need to my projects without even a single teams message, when the docs are good enough.
This attitude of "ask them to do it for you" is, quite frankly, cancer. It takes any notion of self-sufficiency and throws it out the window, and it means that any team that dares stick their neck out is then piled onto with requests for help.

It kills any notion of doing things correctly or by-the-book - the teams that get piled onto are flying by the seat of their pants and are (usually) one member loss away from falling apart completely.
Please, for the love of god, read between the lines and realize that having documentation with conflicting information is a problem....
"Hey, the documentation we have has conflicting information, should I do X or Y to accomplish Z"

"Oh just have the A team handle it, they've done it before"
